COVID-19

We are open for normal business hours Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We are limiting the number of staff members in the office and practicing safe distancing precautions. We are encouraging all of the team members to wash their hands and use hand sanitizer whenever possible along with cleaning door handles, debt machines, handrails, photocopiers, and desks. We want everyone who walks into our office to feel safe. We still offer 24/7 Emergency Service.

Overhead Monorail Conveyors

Overhead Monorail Componenets are an efficient and economical way to utilize area above the floor. They are ideal for transporting parts through ovens, paint booths, or similar operations.

Trolleys are the first and most basic component to consider when planning an Overhead Conveyor System. Four basic sizes of trolleys–2″, 3″, 4″ and 6″. Offered as “standard” is the vertical hole pattern, with one bolt above and one below the chain (which holds the chain firmly in place.) Trolleys are also available in these sizes with a horizontal hole pattern, with two bolts above the chain which provide a means of adding or removing trolley assemblies under conditions where the chain cannot be slackened.

Trolley Wheel connections can be swaged or bolted. Swaged is the most popular and commonly used type due to its relatively low cost, strength and overall capabilities. It has permanently fastened trolley wheels and is used where there is seldom any need to remove or replace wheels.

Retainer Type Trolley Wheels are the most widely used type for light or moderate loads and low contaminant conditions. Precision steel balls are held in a steel retainer ring ensuring low friction, minimum ball wear and the least amount of drive energy. This type is designed to operate continuously in temperatures of up to 325° F.

Full Ball Type Trolley Wheels are designed for use under high load, thrust, temperature and contaminant conditions. These wheels are designed to operate in continuous temperature conditions up to 500° F.

Roller Turns offer the most economical means of providing chain and trolley alignment during horizontal changes of direction. Rollers are available with double row ball bearings, tapered bearings or with a metalized carbon bearing.

Traction Wheel Turns offer the most efficient means of maintaining chain and trolley alignment in horizontal turns. The chain rides the wheel around the turn resulting in less chain wear. Chain pull is also reduced because there is less turning friction and there is only one point of lubrication required reducing maintenance costs.

Take-ups maintain chain tension, reduce slack and ensure the smooth operation of the system. Take-ups are available with either the roller Turn or Traction Wheel Turn type construction. Four “V” groove wheels provide true alignment for the floating frame section ensuring smooth trolley movement around the unit.

Caterpillar Drives not only power the system but can also provide the desired speed, speed range, speed control, reversibility or other special characteristics desired in the system. The Caterpillar drive has the advantage of being located in a straight run of conveyor track. This permits the installation at any point in the system which is of particular advantage for multiple drive applications. They are solidly constructed for long, durable operation and supplied either as right hand or left hand units.

Traction Wheel Hubs house the traction wheel bearings. We offer two different designs: cast hub and fabricated hub. The Cast Hub (shown) is used with the plate type Traction Wheel Turn only. It provides an easy means of disassembling and replacing the hub and base without replacing the entire turn. The Fabricated Hub can be used with the plate or spoke type Traction Wheel Turn. The shaft holding mechanism becomes a part of the heavy duty welded frame.
